Ted Bundy, an American serial killer was rampant between 1973 and 1978.

Ted Bundy was born in Vermont and would become known as America's first "postmodern" Serial killer. He was a handsome, athletic, well spoken, delightfully polite and liked young man. A law student, psychology major, very hardworking volunteer for the Republican Party and a possible future state candidate for Governor and even president. Ted Bundy was a necrophiliac who
kidnapped, raped, murdered, tortured, mutilated scores of women, maybe hundreds--the world may never know. He was a sexual deviant in all terms of the word, a rapist who harborred multiple aberrant behaviours.
He was well educated (a degree in psychology, and a law student), good looking and witty with women, he looked good on camera and America sickenly "fell in love" with the beast. After many years of escaping the law, breaking out of prison and murdering some more, he was eventually convicted of murder by the state of Florida and executed by electric chair.
As far as we know, he began loosing control around 1973 and went on a murder spree. Just to give you an idea, here is a list of known victims in 1974 alone. Keep in mind, these are the ones he felet comfortable comfessing to their murders:

- January, "Joni Lenz" University of Washington student, bludgeoned in her bed and impaled with a speculum in her vagina as she slept.
- February, Lynda Ann Healy age 21. University of Washington student, bludgeoned while asleep and abducted from the house as her her roomates slept.
- March, Donna Gail Manson age 19. Abducted on the Evergreen State College campus, Olympia, Washington. Her body was never found.
- April, Susan Elaine Rancourt age 18. Adbucted on Ellensburg's Central Washington State College campus at night.
- May, Roberta Kathleen "Kathy" Parks age 22. Vanished from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Her skull was later found on Taylor Mountain.
- June, Brenda Carol Ball age 22. Disappeared from the Flame Tavern in Burien, Washington with a man believed to be Bundy. Her skull was later found on Taylor Mountain.
- June, Georgeann Hawkins age 18. Disappeared from behind her sorority house, Kappa Alpha Theta, at the University of Washington. Bones found with two other bodies near Lake Sammamish Park. Her remains were accidentally cremated by the coroner's office along with those of unidentified persons.
- July, Janice Ann Ott age 23 . Abducted from Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, Washington.
- July, Denise Marie Naslund age 19. Abducted several hours apart from Janice Ann Ott on Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah, Washington.
- September, he claims he killed an unknown teenage hitchhiker in Idaho. No remains found.
- October, Nancy Wilcox age 16. Though Bundy never confessed to her murder, she was last seen riding in a yellow Volkswagen Bug in Holladay, Utah on October 2, 1974, and she fit his physical type.
- October, Melissa Anne Smith age 17. Vanished from Midvale, Utah, after leaving a pizza parlor where she had been visiting with friends. Her body was found on October in Summit Park.
- October Laura Aime age 17. Disappeared on her way home from a Halloween party in October 1974, and her body was found a month later in American Fork Canyon, Utah.
- November , Debra "Debby" Kent age 17. Vanished from the parking lot of her school in Bountiful, Utah, as she left early to pick up her brother at an ice skating rink. A handcuff key was found in the parking lot near her car, this was hours after Carol DaRonch escaped from Bundy. Bundy confessed that he dumped her at a site near Fairview, Utah. An intense search of the site produced a human patella (knee cap), which matched the profile for someone of Kent's age and size.
- Carol Valenzuela age 20, disappeared from a welfare office in Vancouver, Washington, on August 2, 1974. Her remains were discovered two months later south of Olympia, Washington, along with those of an unidentified female.
This is simply a list of the ones he decided to confess to right before he was executed. There was not enough time to go through his entire list nore was he willing to confess to some of his murders. All his victims looked alike. This is not true for all serial killers.
When familly members now look back at Ted Bundygrowing up, as a child, they have some intersting stories at age two he tried choking the familly cat. At age three he slipped butcher knives in his young aunt's bed then stood by with a perverse smile waiting for her to be impaled.

In 1977 Ted Bundy used to ruse of defending himself in order to gain access to the courthouse library where from where he jumped 25 feet and was recaptured a week later. Then while still awaiting trial, it is said he dug through the prison ceiling and made his way to TN where he would have his way in the Chi Omega sorority house, home to some 40 or so co-eds. The mad man roamed from room to roombludgeoning several co-eds and raping them in that order.(FBI files)Ted Bundy was an animal who was electrocuted like he should have been. Sometimes I wish they still had that old chair (in all states) for the Ted Bundys that still walk the streets or rot in our prisons today. |
